We are happy to inform you that we will start opening our cinemas on May 22nd, starting with the ones in Imotski, Podgora, open-air cinema Bačvice in Split and Veneranda in Hvar. As always, we will try to ensure the best film programme for our audience in these trying times; our programme is a mix of American films, independent films and films for children.
It is important to emphasize that we will adjust to all working recommendations brought by Croatian National Institute of Public Health in these new circumstances. The maximum sitting capacity will be limited, a thorough disinfection of the cinema will be conducted regularly, and you can buy tickets online for every screening. That is why we recommend all guests to buy their tickets on time.
Security measures in Kino Mediteran
By obeying the recommendations of the Croatian National Institute of Public Health, Kino Mediteran will enforce all cautionary measures in theatres and open-air cinemas, in order to maintain the safety of visitors and employees.
The number of seats in each cinema will be established according to the recommended distancing measures of 1.5m, so the overall seating capacity will depend on the size of each space.
We recommend buying the tickets online at www.kinomediteran.hr, and the box offices will be opened an hour before the screening.
Due to the mandatory precaution measures, the cinema’s employees will disinfect all surfaces before and after the screenings. The theatres will be aired out for 30 minutes.
Kino Mediteran asks all visitors to adhere to the rules of conduct that include:
- Mandatory physical distancing (1.5 metres) between persons of and general hygienic measures (disinfectants are available at the entrance and in the restrooms)
- We advise you purchase tickets online
- Mandatory usage of numbered seats
- Following staff’s instructions on how to enter and exit the theatre
